What Fellow Moms Are Saying!
Starting School Ahead
Send them to kindergarten already writing neatly. Their teacher will notice.
Every parent dreams of that moment when the teacher pulls them aside and says "your child is so far ahead." The TalkSteps Magic Writing Workbooks make it happen — quietly, at home, with 10 minutes of practice a day. The 3D grooves physically guide their hand through the correct formation of every letter, number and shape — so they learn the right movement from the very first attempt. No more wonky letters. No bad habits to break later. By the time they walk into their first day of school, their handwriting is already neat, confident and ahead of their classmates. One mum told us her 2-year-old will "go into kindergarten writing neatly." That's the kind of result that makes every parent proud.
Write. Fade. Repeat.
Hand them one workbook. Let them practice for months.
Most kids' workbooks get used once and end up in the recycling bin. Not these. The TalkSteps Workbooks use special magic disappearing ink that automatically fades within 30 minutes of writing — so the same page can be practised on again and again, forever. No buying replacement books. No mountain of scribbled paper. Just one beautiful set of 6 workbooks they can use for months, even years. The set comes with 10 refill ink cartridges to keep them going — and when those eventually run out, you can grab more for the price of a coffee. Genuinely eco-friendly. Genuinely economical. Genuinely brilliant.
Everything They Need In One Set
6 books. One full pre-school education at home.
This isn't just a handwriting workbook. It's a complete pre-school learning system. Workbook 1 covers the full alphabet — every letter, capital and lowercase. Workbook 2 teaches numbers from 1 to 100. Workbook 3 introduces addition and subtraction — their first taste of real maths. Workbook 4 builds early vocabulary with words paired to pictures. Workbook 5 and 6 cover drawing and creative drawing — building visual confidence and fine motor control. Together they cover every core skill your child needs before kindergarten — writing, reading, counting, basic maths and creativity. Designed by educators. Built for toddlers and pre-schoolers ages 3+. Used at the kitchen table, in the car or before bed — whenever you've got 10 quiet minutes.

How does the magic disappearing ink actually work?
How does the magic disappearing ink actually work?
The included pens use a special heat-and-air-reactive ink that fades automatically within 30 minutes of writing. Your child writes on the page, the ink shows up clearly while they practise, and within half an hour it disappears completely — leaving the workbook ready to use all over again. The set comes with 10 ink refills (5 auto-disappearing + 5 heat-activated) so they can practise for months before needing replacements. When the refills do eventually run out, replacement cartridges are inexpensive and widely available.

Officially designed for ages 3+ but parents report using it successfully with toddlers as young as 2 — particularly the drawing and shape pages — and right through early elementary (5-7 years). The progression across the 6 workbooks means it grows with your child. Younger children start with the alphabet and shapes, then progress to numbers, vocabulary and finally addition and subtraction as they get older.
Will my child actually want to use it?
Will my child actually want to use it?
This is what surprises most parents. Kids genuinely love the magic ink — watching their writing slowly disappear feels like a game, not homework. Combined with the engaging illustrations on every page and the satisfying physical feel of tracing the 3D grooves, children consistently ask to do it again. One parent shared that her nieces actively look forward to her coming over so they can do "homework" together. It doesn't feel like work to them — it feels like play with a magic pen.
How do the 3D grooves actually help with handwriting?
How do the 3D grooves actually help with handwriting?
The grooves are physical indentations carved into the page in the exact shape of every letter and number. When your child traces them with the pen, their hand is physically guided along the correct stroke pattern — building muscle memory for the right way to form each letter. This prevents the bad habits children often develop on plain paper (writing letters backwards, starting at the wrong point, using the wrong stroke order) — and means they learn proper letter formation from the very first attempt. The included ergonomic pen grip also encourages a correct, comfortable pen-holding posture.
